About Us
The Haz Story In 2017 after several visits to my family in Morocco, I began sourcing rugs for friends and family in the UK, originally as a hobby and just for the general love of these stunning pieces. Seeing how much joy these rugs were providing to my lovely friends without the crazy price tags made me so happy. The name HAZ was born and came from a simple mix of the names of my two beautiful children and has that Berber feel in the way it is written so it just felt perfect. I made the decision to start an Instagram @hazinteriors2311 which grew organically going from selling a few rugs to many, many more. Requests for a website have been made daily and finally I have now made the leap. Yay!! I was born and have lived all my life in London but my Moroccan heritage comes via my wonderful parents. I am lucky enough to have family who reside in Morocco and help me source these incredible works of art, they also look after small cooperatives of women whom I look to focus my energy on
